Brody Cruz Townsend, 9, Lakeland, Tennessee passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 3rd, 2022.

Brody was an avid athlete. From flag football, baseball, soccer, swimming, and running he did it all and was very competitive. He tried to do it all at the same time! He was a math whiz. He could do multiplication in his head and thoroughly enjoyed school. He never did anything slow and might get into trouble when he was supposed to walk and not run. Brody was a funny kid. Often telling funny jokes and his wit was very quick. His classmates and friends would often tell him he was the funniest kid they knew. He even went to school dressed as a joke book. His favorite foods were his dad’s tacos and grandpa’s fish. Brody loved his family. During his hospital stays when the nurses would ask if he wanted anything, he would ask for his sister Taylor. He would always tell his parent’s “Kicking cancer’s butt is easy with parents like you”.

This shirt was made I n honor of Brody and Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
a portion of proceeds will be donated to Childhood Cancer Research at St. Jude or The Cure Starts Now.
